Katie & Adam joined hands on the grounds of beautiful L'Abri in Linwood, North Carolina. A rustic outdoor, and secret treasure of a wedding venue! The vibrant green leaves of the trees were preparing for their seasonal turn in color. You could feel the warmth of the day with enough breeze to feel Fall was coming.

Their ceremony was rows of white wooden chairs filled with family and friends, all who they felt impertinent to include in their union of marriage.  Their pastor talked about always being there for each other, and never, ever giving up on one another. That each person is allowed growth and the other to encourage new growth. Wishes to grow together and create beautiful lives together with their love were few of the many loving words shared this day.

The reception opened with a grand entrance from the newlyweds and first dances with their parents. The wood barn was lit with strings of lights that glimmered the dance floor and warmed the room with the cooling evening temperatures. Katie & Adam planned their day not only for themselves, but for their guests. Each loved one was given a warm blanket to cozy-up in while the cake was cut ...and, of course more dancing! Before the evening was over, each left with a hand-sized burlap bag of espresso beans! A special thank you from the newlyweds. I was thankful indeed as I drove home, espresso beans in my mouth thinking of what a wonderful wedding Katie & Adam had!
